My name is Tamba Koroma, and I want to share a few words from the heart about my dear friend, Anita.
My friendship with her husband, Simeon, goes way back to our school days. We were friends through thick and thin, from our exams in Freetown to finding our way here in the UK.
It feels like yesterday that I first met Anita. She was just a little girl, and I used to play games at her father’s house, right across from mine. Years later, here in the UK, God used me to bring Anita and Simeon together.I helped Anita find a job in Watford. At the time, I knew my friend Simeon was also looking for work.
Anita, being the kind and sharing person she always was, helped him get a job there too. That’s how their love story began. She was the kind of person who would share anything she had with someone who needed it.
Anita was a strong and hard-working woman. She made her own way to the UK with her own effort and God's blessings.
She was truly an inspiration.It’s hard to say goodbye. I pray that her soul rests in perfect peace. I also pray that God continues to bless her children and her husband, Simeon. Her kindness and love will not be forgotten.
