Live streaming services for funerals & weddings – Leicester

FAQs

Most popular questions regarding Live Streaming

The cameras installed in Venue/Churches and crematorium for recording ceremonies often have poor video and sound quality or are placed in awkward positions with wide general view.

On the other hand, our cameras are operated by professionals who continually follow the service and ensure clear footage. Additionally, we can start the live stream from outside the venue before the ceremony begins, capturing the entrance of the Bride/Groom and the procession - which is not possible with the venue's cameras.

We aim to send the unique live stream link within 24 hours of booking, usually sooner. However, during busy periods, there may be a slight delay.

We do not rely on the Wi-Fi provided by the venue as it is usually public and shared among a large number of people, making it unreliable. Instead, we bring our own resources of internet, mostly data sims, which can provide higher than 4G connections. We always carry a minimum of 2 different network sims from EE, O2, Vodafone and Three and use the best available network on the day to ensure a stable and fast connection.

Please keep in mind that in some locations, network coverage might not be available or sufficient, and the venue's Wi-Fi connection might not be strong enough to support the quality we aim for. This can happen in places with thick stone walls, large crowds, or in rural areas. Even if we use the best available connection, we cannot guarantee a successful broadcast. However, we will record the event on camera and upload it over the broadcast, usually by the same evening.

Most of the time, we operate on battery packs. In rare cases where we need to connect to mains power, all our equipment are PAT tested.

Our live streaming service is available in Full HD - 1080p. However, in case of poor internet connection, the resolution may be reduced to 720p/360p. But don't worry, when we provide the final recording of the event straight from the camera, the resolution will be Full HD - 1080p.

We use Sony DSLR cameras for recording and live streaming events. With our extra add-on service for second-angle recording, we use Sony zoom lenses to provide a closer look at the ceremony.

After the event, you will have access to the live stream for the next 12 months. This means that you can watch the event again at any time during this period. Additionally, you will receive a recording of the event, which you can keep with you forever. This recording will be an exact copy of the live stream, so you won't miss out on any of the content or experience.

Yes, you can watch the stream on any smart device including all phones, tablets, laptop/pc and Smart TVs. Simply copy your private URL into your search bar and you’ll see the page containing the video.

Viewers don't need to download any apps. All they need to do is open the link you send them, which can be accessed through any browser such as Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.

The same link can be used to watch the service back if missed.

The live stream page will not be indexed by search engines and the video will only be accessible through a unique, direct link. Password protection is also available upon request.

There are no limitations on the number of concurrent viewers for the live stream. In the past, we have successfully delivered a live stream with over 3000 viewers across 4 continents.

We typically need 15 minutes to prepare before starting the live streaming. However, we recommend scheduling an additional 30 minutes to allow us to test camera positions and check audio and uplink quality. Our team always plans to arrive 45-60 minutes before the service is scheduled to start.

Although we have our own internet connection and backup battery power, we suggest having access to both power and a network connection as a backup option. Additionally, we will require approximately 1.5 square meters of space for the live streaming equipment and operator.

Our team always dresses appropriately and respectfully when attending any event. We do all we can to minimize our presence at the service and ensure that the live stream goes smoothly. We always receive compliments from guests at the event, who didn't even notice our presence because we are unobtrusive.

We offer live streaming services using private, fast, and secure video servers. This ensures that there will be no copyright issues with the music played during the stream, which is a common problem on platforms like YouTube.

However, if you prefer, we can also stream on Facebook or YouTube, but there is a risk of the stream being interrupted due to copyright issues if copyrighted music is played.

Having a good internet connection is crucial for a successful live streaming the event. Based on our experience, we have successfully delivered 9 out of 10 live streaming events. However, if the internet connection is poor in a specific location, the streaming quality may be compromised. For this reason, we cannot provide a guarantee, but we promise to do everything we can to ensure a successful live stream. In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide live coverage, the recording from the camera will be uploaded to the same link on the same evening.
